Between 27-29 November, project partners of the Redispatch 3.0 project had a meeting at Fraunhofer IEE in Kassel Germany. This time meeting is a combination of the project context and also interesting presentation topics related to future redispatch activities.
The first day started with the organization of the research project presented by Carsten Krüger (a project coordinator) followed by a presentation from VDE on architecture and processes for congestion management of micro-flexibilities/at distribution grid level/systems below 100 kW.
There were also interesting presentations from other guests such as UnIT-e2 from EWE NETZ, Redispatch 2.0 by emsys, OpenKONSEQUENZ „ Low-voltage cockpit” from OFFIS.
The second day was about the progress activities on the work package 3. This work package focuses on the development of the network status estimate and forecast, a concept for the integration of operational management algorithms from PSIForecast and SIMONA, and a test setup in the laboratory investigating the SCADA application and TASE.2 fallback. Some of the work results will be further developed and tested next year.
The third day was more focused on an interactive “World Cafe” workshop which discussed what are missing aspects in the redispatch process and approaches for fairness implementation. In addition,
Special thanks to Fraunhofer IEE for hosting this event!
